Blue Collar News

Welcome to this edition of “Blue Collar News”. This past Sunday, October 23rd, BCW presented a card at Eagles North Portland FOE 3426 located at 7611 North Exeter Street in Portland, Oregon.
NWA Heritage Champion, Lonestar, went against a talent out of California that was completely unknown to him, Matthias Starkey. The champion finished him with his trademark super kick to retain the title via pinfall. Afterwards, Lonestar told this reporter, “It was a hard fought match, but Lonestar wins again! I’m looking forward to taking the NWA Heritage Championship on the road in the next few months and am negotiating title defenses in Indiana and California.”
The second match saw the Brandt Dynasty (Demarcus James & Lance Dean) battle CJ Edwards & JB Moonshine to a double disqualification. Edwards and James continued to brawl afterwards and even assaulted ringside security resulting in both men receiving one week suspensions.
NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion, Tommy Celsius went to a no contest when Celsious threw a chain to Ironman, but the ref saw both men with it. When asked about his match with Buddy Highway next week, Celsius said, “As far as the casket match goes one can’t prepare for a match like this, so it’s going to be a fight for our lives.”
Big V got a win over Gregor Petrov by disqualification. Afterwards, Big V told this reporter, “Any time me and Petrov have a match it always turns into a brawl. That’s what you get when you put two nut bags in the same room. As for this Sunday’s TLC, who knows what The Dark Asylum has planned? What I do know is no one will truly win after all the chaos and destruction!”
In the semi-main event No More Heroes defeated Dungeon of Doom by pinfall. I asked Adan Reyes to give me a bit of background on No More Heroes. He replied, ” No More Heroes is a group consisting of myself, Blake Grayson, Jeff Orcut, Tray Mattews and Mach Martinez who travel around collecting tag team gold. We dont believe in heroes so our mission is to kill the idea of a hero or beat those who pretend to be. We came back to Blue Collar Wrestling after a long hiatus and for the first time in our BCW careers we have a real purpose. I started in BCW it’s first year and fueded with Badd Blood and Buddy Highway way back. Since, about 2011 I have wrestled in Washington, Canada, Mexico, Alaska, North Carolina, Utah. My partner last week, Grayson, wrestles in SoCal. We have been all over and we are not done, yet!”
The main event was a ladder match pitting both teams using The Role Models name against each other for the rights to the name. Tyson Lee and Teck Tonik lost to Kaine Jaiden and Ares Toretto with Scarlett J accompanying them to the ring. After the match Kaine Jaiden told me, “I give Ares a lot of credit. I may have secured the contract, but he was the one who held off Tyson Lee while I was dragged to the back by Teck Tonik. As for the TLC match, we go to war once more, to settle the score, with Tables, Ladders, and Chairs galore.”
NWA Blue Collar Wrestling presents Darkness Reigns on Sunday, October 30th. Doors open at 5:30. Bell time is 6 PM. Darkness broke his leg in a match and proceeds from this show will help him with medical and living expenses. There will be a costume contest for the kids, a costume battle royal featuring the stars of BCW, JB Moonshine vs Lance Dean, Vendetta Pro’s Rick Luxury (NWA Western States Champion) vs Gregor Petrov, Will Roberts vs PNW TV Champion, Cousin  Jameson, Tommy Celcius vs Buddy Highway in a PNW Heavyweight Title vs career casket match and The Dark Asylum  in a triple threat TLC match against The Role Models and Teck Tonic & Tyson Lee for the tag titles! $12 for front row, $10 for general admission.
Make sure to check out BCW on Facebook and YouTube. Finally, if you would do me a favor, visit and donate $5 to help prevent suicide. It means a lot to me. That’s it for this week. So, in the mean time and in between time, so long from Blue Collar News!
