Anthony reclaims National title, Women’s Champion defeated!

This last weekend saw two NWA Champions go down in defeat, with one title changing hands in the process.

On Friday, October 28, 2016, NWA Women’s World Champion Jazz went to Japan to take on CMLL-Reina International Champion Heidi Katrina at REINA Makoto 10th Anniversary ~ Queens Climax In Korakuen Hall, with both titles at stake
Fortunately for Katrina, she was able to score the win to retain her CMLL-Reina title. However, NWA Championships can only be won by pinfall or submission, and while Reina left as the victor, she scored the win via countout. Jazz retained her NWA Women’s World Championship.

Jake Logan, was not quite as fortunate.

Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Power Pro Arena in Ripley, Tennessee, Logan had put out a $5,000 bounty on Greg Anthony, his challenger for Saturday night. However,”The Weight of the World” Cory Bush was unable to claim this bounty, and “The Golden Boy” would make it to Dyersburg to take on Logan for the National title.
Saturday night, October 29, 2016 at NWA Mid-South at the Herb Welch WrestlePlex in Dyersburg, Tennessee, “Golden Boy” Greg Anthony scored the win to become a three-time NWA National Heavyweight Champion.
